Part 1: Confucian Temple

Built in the first year of the Zhengtong reign of the Ming Dynasty (1436), the temple is located at No. 1 Dongmenli, Dongmalu, Nankai District, Tianjin, and Wenmiao Hutong, Changyi District, Jilin City. It was built by local officials of Tianjin during the Ming and Qing Dynasties to worship Confucius, the great thinker, educator, politician and founder of Confucianism in ancient my country. It is also the site of the Tianjin Academy. Covering an area of 15,000 square meters, it consists of two temples, one for the prefecture and one for the county, and the Minglun Hall. It is the largest and best-preserved Ming and Qing architectural complex in Tianjin.

Part Two: Jingyuan

Originally named Qianyuan, it was the residence of Lu Zongyu, the Beiyang Government's ambassador to Japan. Located at No. 70 Anshan Road, Heping District, Tianjin, it was built in 1921, covering an area of approximately 3,016 square meters, with a building area of approximately 1,900 square meters. From July 1929 to November 1931, the last emperor Puyi, along with his empress Wanrong and concubine Wenxiu, resided here, renaming it "Jingyuan," meaning "to cultivate one's noble spirit through tranquility." The garden features a brick-and-wood structure blending Spanish and Japanese styles, lush with greenery, creating a serene and pleasant atmosphere. It is a typical example of a courtyard-style private residence during the Tianjin concession period.

After Puyi moved out, Jingyuan changed hands several times and underwent many changes, being used as office space and residences. 600 square meters of illegal buildings were constructed in the courtyard and inside the buildings. In 2007, after being renovated and restored, Jingyuan was opened to the public as a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Part 3: Xikai Church

Its full name is Xikai Cathedral, also known as Xikai Church or Old Xikai Church. Located on Dushan Road, Binjiang Road, Heping District, Tianjin, it faces northeast and was built in 1916 under the supervision of French missionary Paul Du. The building has a floor area of 1891.95 square meters and can accommodate 1500 people at the same time. It is the cathedral of the Catholic Diocese of Tianjin.

Xikai Church is the largest Romanesque building in Tianjin. The building has a Latin cross-shaped floor plan. Three giant domes, each 45 meters high, are arranged in a staggered "品" shape. The three domes are slightly elongated upwards and covered with green copper plates. The giant domes are supported by wooden structures, and each dome has a bronze cross on it.

In November 2018, Xikai Church was selected as one of the third batch of 20th-century architectural heritage sites in China.

Part Four: Prince Qing's Mansion

Located at No. 55 Chongqing Road (formerly Cambridge Road in the British Concession) in Heping District, Tianjin, in the heart of the "Five Avenues", it is a historical building under special protection in Tianjin and a cultural relic protection unit of Tianjin.

The Prince Qing Mansion was originally built in 1922 as a private residence designed and supervised by Xiao Dezhang, the Grand Eunuch of the late Qing Dynasty. It was considered the finest Chinese-built building in the former British Concession. Later, it was purchased by Zai Zhen, the fourth Prince Qing of the Qing Dynasty, who then moved there with his family, hence the name. The mansion covers an area of 4,327 square meters, with a building area of 5,922 square meters. It is a two-story brick-and-wood structure (with a basement) with an enclosed courtyard. The overall architecture reflects the Westernized lifestyle of the time while incorporating traditional Chinese cultural imagery, making it a typical example of Western influence spreading eastward among the Western-style buildings of the Five Great Avenues.
